Lessons & blocks
Write lessons and choose the right activity.
Build and publish
Edit a lesson
On a lesson page, instructors use the right sidebar for roster preview, grading, policies, and settings. In edit mode, the same rail includes Changes for tracked edits.
How blocks work
A lesson is a sequence of blocks. Type / in the lesson editor to insert one. Blocks fall into two families:
Content blocks
Content blocks teach, illustrate, or let students explore. They never add gradebook points by themselves. Insert them from the / menu under Style, Insert, and Upload.
Activity blocks
Interactive Activity Blocks are scored lesson activities. Students participate or complete them, usually for points. Insert them from / → Interactive Activity Blocks.
Preview and publish
Publish the learner version, check availability, and create a join code for an enrollment period.
Review tracked changes
In lesson edit mode, the Changes tab lists tracked edits (and pending interactive-block reviews). Use it to accept or reject suggestions before learners see updates.
