Bring the course you already teach.
You don’t have to move everything at once. Rebuild one lesson, try it with your class, and bring the rest over when you’re ready.
Start with one lesson
- Create a course and add a lesson.
- Paste in your explanation and add one activity, with its answer or rubric.
- Preview it as a student. Try a right and a wrong answer to see how it’s graded.
- Publish it and share the class code with your students.
What to bring
- Your explanations, images, and videos. Paste text into a lesson and embed the videos you already use.
- Your questions. Rebuild them with matching activities, such as multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank, or ordering, and set the answers and points.
- Your programming assignments. Bring the starter files and expected output, then run them once in a coding exercise.
- A textbook you’re replacing. A shared CuraCourse book, like CSAwesome, may already cover it. Copy any lesson you want to change.
What doesn’t move over automatically
There’s no one-click import from another platform yet. Course content is rebuilt by hand, and past grades stay where they are. If you connect CuraCourse to your LMS with LTI, students launch from the LMS and new grades sync back to your gradebook.
Decide who pays
Before you share the class code, decide whether students pay for their plan or your school covers it, and let your class know.
