## What this block does
A Clickable Activity turns parts of text, code, or a table into selectable answers. Students identify the correct items directly in the material.

## How to use it
1. Type **/** in lesson Edit mode and insert **Clickable Activity**.
2. Choose **Text**, **Code**, or **Table** and enter the material.
3. For text or code, choose the selection unit, such as words or lines/sentences.
4. Mark the correct items and exclude any items that should not be clickable.
5. Set **Points**, then preview and test the intended selection.

## Example
Provide a short program and ask students to select the lines that update a variable. Mark those lines in the instructor solution rather than asking students to copy line numbers into a separate answer.

## Check the selection units
If the wrong portions are selectable, review the activity type, unit, and excluded items. The automatic check compares the selected set with your marked items. Use [Instant Feedback](https://www.curacourse.com/help/instant-feedback) for formative checks.
